If you like campy B movies, you’ll like this short Chatroulette video. This video uses a Star trek theme and a talented cast to try to impress chatters. But the users’ responses are extremely muted. This effect creates an uncomfortable moment for the users rather than the intended laughter.
Although the director fell far short of anything memorable, he did manage to create a comedy by combining two different pop cultural icons. It’s too bad that the comedic effect didn’t reach its mark, this Chatroulette tribute really had potential.
